Collateral Servicing Specialist Req #328 446 Wrenplace Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29715, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Friday, September 4, 2026 at 12:00 AM The Collateral Servicing Specialist is responsible for researching and reviewing borrower requests related to partial lien releases, easements, other types of property modifications, subordinations, CEMAs, and Co-Ops. In addition, the Collateral Servicing Specialist is responsible for maintaining a working relationship with the document custodians to request collateral files needed for various reasons, including paid-in-full loans, CEMAs, Co-Ops, repurchases, and foreclosure.
Responsibilities:
Review incoming borrower requests for partial lien releases, easements, additions of land, eminent domain cases, boundary line adjustments, and subdivisions. Work directly with RoundPoint's preferred firm to examine CEMA and Co-Op collateral documents to close CEMA and Co-Op transactions. Assist external clients with second-lien subordinations. Maintain a working relationship with document custodians to request and monitor the timely release of original collateral documentation for various reasons. Research the locations of collateral files for bulk transactions from other departments, such as service transfers or records management. Prepare assignments of mortgage and allonges. Educate and stay up to date on federal, state, agency and client guidelines, policies, and procedures. Identify enhancements to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. Identify potential issues or concerns and participate in a solution, including recommending and developing new policies and procedures. Assist with additional projects or tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years of mortgage servicing experience Knowledge of legal descriptions, surveys, and property related proposed agreements Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and additional Microsoft products Strong oral and written communication skills Problem-solving skills to identify issues and concerns, and participate in the solutions Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment

Experience with partial lien releases, easements, and other types of property modification requests, subordinations, CEMAs, and Co-Ops. Regular use of hands and fingers for tasks like keyboarding, operating office equipment, and filing documents. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and potentially up to 20 pounds occasionally. Ability to observe details at close range, such as viewing a computer screen, reviewing documents, and performing data analysis.
