POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for accurately documenting borrower's loan file, creating and distributing documents and letters, and managing disclosure desk. Ability to effectively communicate while displaying the professional demeanor which is identified with Southern First Bank.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Loan Documents are completed and filed within the applicable deadlines. Maintain a good understanding of the different loan products, work with automated underwriting systems and be able to work with the lenders, investors, and underwriters. Maintain up to date product and market changes and understand the impact the changes have on loan submissions. Work with the Processors, Closers, and Underwriters during the loan process Responsible for scanning closed mortgage loans Complete other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. College experience in a business field of 2 to 4 years is preferable. Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills. Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members Ability to adjust to change and a willingness to be a team player Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance Ability to think and act quickly and to follow procedures Must have own transportation Must be able to do simple math calculations. Strong working knowledge of industry guidelines. Proficient knowledge of computers and be able to adapt to different lenders websites for information, updates, and loan submissions. Be able to work within the time frames of rate locks and at times less than 30 day closing requirement on sales contracts. Knowledgeable of applicable computer software systems to include work processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Thoroughly knowledgeable of mortgage products and services offered.WORK CONDITIONS
Must be able to sit for long periods of time as position involves majority of time spent at desk and computer Must be able to work from their auto as well as office and home.
