Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Loan Assistant you will be responsible for processing and closing approved loan files using discretion and independent decision making, including but not limited to Communicating with lenders and customers to service new and existing commercial loan requests Coordinating with Loan Operations to process, close, and fund loans in accordance with policies & procedures Collecting CIP documents; running Patriot Act and credit reports Clearing CIP, loan, and insurance exceptions Ensuring collateral interest is accurately perfected - Title work; UCC lien searches Completing and processing wire transfers for loan funding Completing and processing draws as requested and approved by officer Processing Regulation B notices in accordance federal compliance standards Developing an understanding of Real Estate loan processes Assisting Lender with Real Estate documentation, preparation, and follow up to ensure timely & accurate closings; this includes communicating with Title Companies & Customers as neededRequired Skills:
Accuracy and attention in fast paced environment Must exhibit a high level of integrity and exercise good judgement. Strong ability to meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail Strong customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft computer applicationsPreferred:
