We are looking to hire an experienced mortgage loan closer in our fulfillment department. Responsibilities Include Review the title commitments, contracts, surveys, PMI certs, locks and approvals Work closely with the title company and lender to manage closing timelines and pipeline Prepare the mortgage closing package Review and approve the Closing Disclosure Balance and order the wire Fund the loan Required Experience Knowledge of Conventional, FHA and VA loan guidelines Experience with TLTA and ALTA commitments, contracts, surveys and residential real estate closing documents Knowledge of lien requirements unique to Texas, including 50(a)(6) Understanding of TILA, RESPA and Predatory Lending laws Experience with HUD/FA approval and funding Strong analytical and decision-making skills Keen eye for accuracy, attention to detail and ability to handle high volume workload Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and time management skills Must be motivated self-starter and capable of adapting to a changing environment Ability to utilize multiple software programs simultaneously
