Overview
THIS IS A THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY
over night positon. Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations at our vibrant resort. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving late or departing early, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining accurate financial records. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will contribute to memorable guest experiences and smooth hotel management during the overnight shift. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively, guest-focused environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival or departure, providing friendly and professional customer service with excellent phone etiquette. Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling inquiries and reservations with clarity and courtesy. Perform nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing, payments, and account adjustments. Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports, including cash drawers, credit card transactions, and other revenue sources. Address guest concerns promptly, offering solutions or escalating issues to management when necessary to uphold high standards of guest relations. Maintain the front desk area in a tidy and organized manner, ensuring all guest information is handled securely and confidentially. Collaborate with hotel management to ensure smooth overnight operations, including security checks and emergency procedures. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles, especially with night audit responsibilities. Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse guest interactions. Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems; previous experience with resort environments is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, guest services best practices, and basic accounting procedures related to night audits. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced hotel setting; previous hotel experience is preferred.
