Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent/Night Audit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Duties Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information. Handle reservations and cancellations through phone systems or in-person requests. Provide information regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain organized front desk operations, including managing cash transactions and maintaining records. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate at the end of each day. Foster positive guest relations by being attentive to their needs and preferences. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Clean and stock breakfast area before breakfast hours. Additional lobby cleaning duties are necessary. Requirements Reliable Transportation. Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook. Strong phone etiquette skills and proficiency in handling phone systems effectively. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations; Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Familiarity with hospitality management software is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
