As the Night Auditor, you will oversee the nightly financial reconciliation, manage front desk functions, and uphold the highest standards of guest service. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help maintain our property's reputation for excellence while providing a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working during the vibrant night shift. Duties Conduct nightly financial audits by reconciling guest accounts, reservations, and billing using property management systems such as OPERA or similar hotel software. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, incident reports, and shift logs to ensure smooth handovers and compliance with hotel policies. Monitor security procedures, perform safety inspections, and respond swiftly to emergency situations following hotel emergency protocols. Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assist with reservations or inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, and communicate effectively with guests and staff. Support hotel management by preparing reports on occupancy, revenue, and operational issues to aid decision-making. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms. Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset; able to handle guest concerns professionally and diplomatically. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication across diverse clientele. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and night audit processes essential for maintaining a secure environment. Excellent phone communication skills coupled with courteous phone etiquette to assist guests efficiently during overnight hours. Previous experience working in resort settings or with hotel management systems is preferred to ensure smooth operational flow during night shifts.
