This pivotal role combines the responsibilities of guest relations, front desk operations, and night audit procedures to ensure a seamless experience for our guests during evening hours. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night arrivals and departures, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate financial records. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions with friendly phone etiquette. Conduct nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts, verifying transactions, and preparing financial reports to ensure accuracy of all guest billing. Handle guest requests, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high standards of guest services to foster positive guest relations. Maintain security protocols by monitoring access points, ensuring guest confidentiality, and safeguarding hotel property during overnight shifts. Update reservation systems, manage room assignments, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests. Document incidents or irregularities during the shift through detailed shift reports to ensure smooth operations. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred. Familiarity with night audit procedures within a hotel or resort environment is advantageous. Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution. Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, hotel management software, and reservation platforms is desirable. Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. Experience in guest relations, hospitality management, or similar roles will help you excel in this dynamic position.
