Issuing room keys, keeping records and reports of occupied and vacant guest rooms, answering incoming phone calls from external and internal guests, making reservations, collecting payments, and presenting final folio invoices as guests check out of the hotel. Lastly, always going above and beyond to show our guests the true meaning of Marriott's Spirit to Serve. General Responsibilities Checking guests in and out of the hotel ensuring they receive the accommodations they require (ADA rooms, pet friendly rooms, etc.) Make, change, or cancel guest reservations as needed, with knowledge of computers Answering phone calls from external and internal guests, responding to guest needs Cash handling and reconciliations Keeping work area neat and organized Communicating with other team members continuously Reporting any unsafe conditions to appropriate supervisor or manager immediately Knowing and understanding hotel emergency procedures Maintaining a professional and upbeat attitude as the first and last impression of our hotel guests •The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
