SUMMARY:
Our Front Desk Agents are primarily responsible for handling all guest interactions and going above and beyond to exceed guest requests and expectations. They will often be the first point of contact for guests and are responsible for creating an excellent first impression.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards. Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: all hotel features, services and department hours of operation. all room types, numbers, layout, decor, and location. all room rates, special packages and promotions. daily house count and expected arrivals and departures. room availability status for any given day. all hotel and departmental policies and procedures. Monitor the check-in and check-out process; anticipate critical situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process the guest expediently. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Previous experience with Windows, Office, and Opera or similar property management system preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit. Must have excellent phone etiquette. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must have strong computer skills.
