Job Description
Are you a night owl who's great with people, organized, and ready to take charge? We're looking for YOU! Motel 6 Irvine/Santa Ana Airport is looking for a reliable, friendly, and responsible Night Auditor to join our overnight team! As our Night Auditor, you'll be the main front-desk team member overnight, helping guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, answering questions, and making sure the hotel runs smoothly and safely throughout the night. If you're someone who stays calm under pressure, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in providing great guest service, even at 2am, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude Ensure guests are properly utilizing the lobby self-kiosk for overnight check in Check guests in and out during overnight hours as needed Handle reservations, payments, and guest requests accurately Responsible for processing Credit Card payments in accordance with PCI compliance Answer phones and respond to guest questions Assist guests with room keys, directions, hotel information, and other needs Handle late-night arrivals and early-morning departures Respond professionally to guest concerns and work to resolve issues Monitor the front desk and hotel activity throughout the overnight shift Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area Complete nightly paperwork, reports, and basic accounting/audit procedures Balance and verify daily transactions and prepare required reports Communicate important information and outstanding issues to the morning team Conduct routine property checks as required Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures Maintain a calm, professional environment during overnight hours Assist with other front-desk or hotel duties as needed What We're Looking For Customer service or front-desk experience preferred Hotel or hospitality experience of 1 year or more Must be able to use an iPad Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Reliable, dependable, and punctual Comfortable working independently during overnight hours Strong communication and problem-solving skills Good attention to detail and basic math skills Comfortable using computers and handling cash/payment transactions Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations Willingness to assist guests and team members whenever needed Comfortable working weekends and holidays as part of the overnight schedule Must be comfortable working a night/overnight shift Why Join Our Team?
