Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Auditor to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services and amenities. Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times. Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations through the hotel management system. Conduct night audits as required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to create an inviting atmosphere. Perform nightly financial audits of daily transactions, including reconciling credit card charges, verifying room charges, and balancing cash drawers. Generate and distribute end-of-day reports for management and accounting teams. Ensure all no-show reservations are properly processed and that folios are closed accurately. Monitor property security, report any safety concerns, and ensure all entrances are secured as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus, along with basic computer skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail in all interactions.
