- Act as Front Desk Receptionist, Concierge and PBX Operator during this shift
- Assist with guest requests and any guest concerns or issues
- Run night audit daily processing
- Notate and follow up on wakeup calls from the wakeup call sheet
- Roll all expected arrivals and no shows to next day
- Post overnight parking charges
- Perform check in and check out duties
- Compile and distribute house reports, including arrivals, departure and in-house report
- Sort and file daily receipts for all restaurant outlets
- Make management aware of guest's comments and complaints
- Answer incoming internal and external phone calls, as well as additional PBX (phone operator) duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred
- 1 year of customer/ guest experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic industry terminology
- Familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures, assisting in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
- Strong attention to detail
- Active listening and interpersonal skills to personalize the guest experience
- Ability to act professional in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand written and verbal English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in team settings, contributing positively to group dynamics
- Ability to demonstrate expertise in the technical aspect of the job
- Comply with all policies and procedures for the Front Desk department
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demandAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
