Job Description

The Hotel Rehoboth is looking for a new Part-Time Night Auditor for our Front Desk Team! The Night Audit Shift is an overnight position from 11 pm to 7 am, and this part-time position requires weekend availability. We are looking for a reliable, outgoing, and diligent person to join the Hotel Rehoboth staff. We are a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We have 52 Guest rooms, and our guest experience includes a catered breakfast, parking, daily wine and cheese reception, daily fresh-baked cookies and a 24-hour front desk. Seasonal amenities include the heated outdoor pool and the beach shuttle with complimentary beach chairs and towels. Our property also houses the restaurant Lupo's Italian Kitchen and the boutiques Sty.lishh and Mod Cottage.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform the nightly Audit functions and the end-of-day close procedures
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Maintain and complete daily reporting and inventory
  • Take pride in the property and the workspace
  • Other special projects as assigned to assist Management or Ownership
  • Strive to maintain both the standards of the Hotel and the best experience for the Guests.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest relations
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus We value our front desk agents as they are the first point of contact for our guests.
