Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift at the front desk, manage hotel accounting procedures, and uphold the highest standards of guest service. Your proactive approach will help maintain property security, resolve guest inquiries, and support overall hotel management functions during nighttime hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our hotel's overnight success while fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts using property management systems such as OPERA and other hospitality reservation platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest requests with professionalism and warmth. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and problem-solving solutions. Maintain security by conducting property inspections and following hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and property integrity. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to support daily hotel operations and audits. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to address guest needs and resolve issues efficiently. Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing reservations, cancellations, and special requests across multiple languages or bilingual communication when applicable. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable property management software (PMS). Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance client communication and service delivery. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and resort experience is preferred. Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Prior experience in night audit or resort hospitality roles is advantageous for success in this position. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
