Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations at our hotel. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests during the night shift, responsible for maintaining exceptional guest services, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the security and accuracy of nightly financial reports. Your proactive attitude and hospitality expertise will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest satisfaction and smooth hotel management. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, providing outstanding customer service through friendly phone communication and face-to-face interactions. Manage hotel reservation systems such as Synxis or other property management systems (PMS), ensuring accurate booking records and room assignments. Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account adjustments, preparing detailed reports for management review. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly using customer service problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with multilingual or bilingual guests to enhance their experience. Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, perform property inspections, and follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of all activities during the shift, including incident reports, shift logs, and audit documentation. Support front desk operations by answering phones with professional phone etiquette and assisting with guest relations to foster a welcoming environment. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred. Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and security protocols to ensure guest safety during overnight hours. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests. Experience working in resort environments or hotels with extensive guest services offerings is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle night audit responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality excellence.
