Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving during the night shift, handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and maintaining the integrity of financial records. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment and smooth hotel functioning through the overnight hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while providing exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service during late-night hours Check in and check out guests efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Manage overnight reservations, cancellations, modifications, and room assignments with accuracy and attention to detail Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring all data is correctly recorded and discrepancies are addressed promptly Respond to guest inquiries via phone, multi-line phone systems, or in person, offering solutions and information with clarity and professionalism Handle hotel emergency procedures confidently, including safety protocols and incident reporting when necessary Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities, incidents, and unresolved issues for the morning staff Skills Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and front desk operations Experience with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS) Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving capabilities Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for client interaction via multi-line systems Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail This role is perfect for candidates passionate about hospitality who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
