Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dependable, professional, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our hotel team. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional overnight guest service while completing the hotel's daily financial and accounting procedures. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, has strong attention to detail, and can provide a welcoming and safe environment for guests throughout the overnight hours. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner Complete guest check-ins and check-outs Answer phones and assist with reservations, questions, and guest requests Process cash and credit card transactions accurately Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns Monitor the hotel during overnight hours and follow established safety and security procedures Complete nightly audit procedures and verify the accuracy of daily transactions Balance and reconcile front desk transactions and guest accounts Review room charges, payments, adjustments, and other daily financial activity Prepare and distribute required night audit and daily reports Verify room rates, occupancy information, and revenue totals Maintain accurate records and documentation for hotel management Communicate important overnight information to the morning Front Desk and management teams Monitor guest room status and communicate housekeeping or maintenance concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area Assist with light lobby/front desk duties as needed during the overnight shift Follow hotel procedures regarding guest privacy, cash handling, emergencies, and security Perform additional front desk and guest service duties as assigned Qualifications Dependable and punctual with the ability to consistently work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM overnight shift Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working independently during overnight hours Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management systems Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or accounting experience is preferred but not required Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to perform light cleaning and other physical duties as needed Schedule 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Candidates must have reliable overnight availability. Weekend and holiday availability is required based on hotel and scheduling needs. What We're Looking For Our Night Auditor is an important part of the hotel team and is often the primary point of contact for our guests overnight. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, organized, friendly, and comfortable taking responsibility during overnight hours while delivering excellent guest service. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
