Our ideal candidate should exude a passion for the hospitality industry that will cultivate an exceptional guest experience. The successful candidates must have outstanding customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and be a team player. They must have a strong "people person" attitude, problem-solving skills, and must be able to maintain a professional demeanor when under pressure. Previous night audit, front desk, or customer service experience is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. Provide the highest quality of service to every guest and exceeds guest expectations. Greet guests and assist them with their stay. Handle guest check-ins/check-outs in accordance with hotel policies/standards in an efficient and friendly manner. Answering telephone switchboard in a professional manner. Respond promptly to guests' concerns, questions, and requests. Make and modify guest reservations as well as be familiar with all rates, packages, and special promotions. Provide information on hotel amenities, surrounding attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Interact with hotel team in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information. Fully understand and operate front desk computer system. Post guest charges, collect payments, and follow all cash handling procedures as per company standards. Ensure logging/delivery of packages, mail and messages as needed to guests. Preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks. Responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift (Typically 11 pm-7 am). Have thorough knowledge of company's emergency, safety, and security procedures. Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Maintain high standards of personal appearance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Qualifications and requirements High School diploma or equivalent One year front desk night audit or customer service experience strongly preferred Fosse or Marriott experience is a plus. Must speak fluent local language. Additional language skills a plus but not required. This job requires ability to perform the following: Frequent standing, particularly for sustained periods of time at the front desk Must be able to bend, squat, stand, sit and occasionally lift 20-25 pounds. Handling objects, products, guest luggage and computer equipment Basic computer skills to operate various property management and operating systems.
