Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the night-time financial and administrative functions of the hotel, provide exceptional guest services, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management. Your proactive attitude and multilingual skills will contribute to a welcoming environment, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for during their stay. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in hotel management while delivering memorable guest experiences around the clock. Duties Conduct nightly audits using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to reconcile accounts, verify transactions, and prepare financial reports. Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations via hospitality reservation systems. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and delivering personalized guest relations. Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance and perform routine safety checks in accordance with hotel emergency procedures. Handle phone communication with professionalism and courtesy, assisting guests with requests or information while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Maintain accurate records of all night audit activities, incident reports, and shift logs to ensure smooth transitions between shifts. Support guest services by responding to special requests, managing late arrivals or departures, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the night. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset to handle guest concerns efficiently. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff safety at all times. Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail. Previous experience in night audit or hotel management roles is preferred.
