Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at 2 busy hotels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's financial records, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during the night shift.Responsibilities:
- Conduct nightly audits to ensure accurate financial records, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and preparing deposit and withdrawal reports.
- Provide outstanding guest services by answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Manage the front desk, including checking in and out guests, processing room assignments, and handling guest requests and complaints.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and surrounding areas.
- Operate hotel phone systems, including handling internal and external calls, and responding to emergency situations.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service skills and provide a positive experience for guests.
- Work closely with the night shift team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Utilize multilingual skills to communicate with guests who speak different languages.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a hotel or resort environment, preferably in a front desk or guest services role.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in hotel phone systems and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in multiple languages (Bilingual or multilingual).
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the night shift.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Pay:
