Night Audit Hyatt Regency Boston - 4.0 Boston, MA Job Details Full-time $31.35 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Night audit Receptionist experience within hospitality industry Full Job Description Summary The Night Auditor is responsible for the overnight hotel operations, ensuring the accuracy of daily close of day reporting, and providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours. This position combines front desk responsibilities with financial reconciliation, supporting a seamless transition from one business day to the next in accordance with Hyatt's values, policies and procedures. The responsibilities outlined below are provided as a representative sample of the essential functions of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive list; additional duties may be assigned as necessary Provide a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests and assist with overnight check-ins/check-outs Perform nightly audit procedures including reconciling and posting daily revenues and transactions Prepare and distribute daily reports per Night Audit Checklist Monitor front desk operations and handle overnight guest requests and inquiries Ensure the accuracy of billing, payments, and cash handling procedures Respond to emergency situations or security concerns during overnight hours with security Maintain accurate records and logs for shift activity, guest incidents, and audit reports Ensure a clean and organized front desk and lobby environment Communicate effectively with day shift staff to ensure proper hand-off and follow-through on guest oroperational needs The pay rate for this position is $31.35 Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year prior experience in a hotel front desk or night audit position required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Open availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
