Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial transactions, ensuring guest safety, and delivering top-tier customer service. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will help uphold our commitment to excellence while creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Verify guest accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure smooth check-out processes. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours with professionalism and efficiency. Respond to guest inquiries and requests via multi-line phone systems, providing courteous and prompt assistance. Monitor hotel security systems, including CCTV surveillance, to maintain safety and address any incidents or emergencies following established hotel procedures. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping. Handle late-night phone communication with guests, vendors, and internal departments while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards. Skills Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and front desk operations in a hotel environment. Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable hotel reservation platforms. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and guest relations. Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are highly desirable. Experience with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and guest safety measures. Exceptional phone communication skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems confidently. Previous resort or hotel experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality standards and guest services excellence. Strong organizational skills to handle night audit responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
