Job Description
Looking for a motivated person to work Night Auditor in a Four Diamond hotel! Job Duties Responsible for guest experiences during the reservation process primarily over the phone and through email Provides information to guests about Hotel features, room features, public areas, offerings, packages, etc. Answering phones Checking guests in and out Run Night Audit Reports in Operating System Assign Housekeeping room assignments for the upcoming day Answer questions regarding and/or making arrangements for dining, entertainment, sports events, recreation, tours, health and beauty services, child care, transportation, religious worship, cultural activities, shopping, floral services and other services Answer questions concerning and/or giving directions to hotel facilities Process and notify guests of receipt of facsimiles, mail, messages and packages Assist guests in the sending of facsimiles, mail, messages and packages Maintain correct information and materials regarding hotel facilities and services, and local restaurants and attractions Receive, store and deliver luggage and mail Perform office duties on a temporary basis when needed Work closely with Guest Service Agents to ensure guest satisfaction Keeps public areas of the hotel tidy and comfortable for guests Assists Guest Service Agents in keeping food/beverages stocked in public areas of the hotel Fill in for Guest Service Agents when required Cross training and other duties as required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Knowledge of Northern Michigan & Seasonal Events Excellent Communication Skills Front Desk and/or Night Audit Experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
