Security Officer / Night Auditor

Endeavor Hotel Group, LLC is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Security Officer / Night Auditor for The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes located in Baxter, Minnesota! This position is primarily a Security Officer role and may also include Night Auditor responsibilities on certain shifts as business needs require.

Specific job responsibilities include:

Provide check-in services to guests arriving at night Answer all customer questions in person and over the phone Respond promptly to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies Inform appropriate hotel management of any urgent or escalated situations in a timely manner Accurately process customer monetary transactions Ensure the front desk area is neat and presentable at all times Process invoices, post checks to vendors, and distribute employee checks Reconcile customer accounts Balance cash drawers and log receipts Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts Keep accurate financial records and ledgers Help prepare for forecasts and audits as necessary Various other responsibilities as assigned Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to ensure the security of the hotel premises. Conduct regular patrols of the hotel interior and exterior to deter and detect suspicious activity. Respond promptly to security incidents, including disturbances, accidents, and medical emergencies. Escort guests and employees to and from parking areas, as needed. Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain order and safety among guests and staff. Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities. Collaborate with hotel management, law enforcement, and emergency services as necessary. Provide assistance to guests and employees with inquiries, directions, and other requests. Other tasks as assigned by leadership. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: High school diploma or experience in a related field Basic knowledge of hotel processes Customer service skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Skilled with attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, multi-tasking, self-motivation, organization, customer relationship building, time management, and computer application literacy Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to interact effectively with guests and employees. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and respond quickly to emergencies. Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response techniques Physical fitness and stamina to perform patrols and respond to security incidents as needed. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
