As a Night Auditor , you'll be the friendly face that keeps things running smoothly overnight and ensures every guest's stay ends on a high note.
Position Overview:
The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during the overnight hours while balancing the day's financial transactions. This role ensures the accuracy of hotel records, assists guests with late check-ins and early departures, and maintains a secure and positive environment overnight.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet, check in, and assist guests with a welcoming and professional attitude.
Perform nightly audit procedures:
balance room charges, verify payment methods, and reconcile daily transactions. Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports to management. Monitor hotel safety and security systems during overnight hours. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and emergencies with professionalism and care. Communicate with housekeeping and management regarding guest issues or upcoming needs. Keep common areas of the hotel neat and tidy (mop lobby & hallways, clean and stock coffee station as needed, etc.) Stock the market and guest amenities nightly.
Qualifications:
Prior hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred; Holiday Inn Express/IHG experience a plus. Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers. Proficient in computers; experience with HotelKey, Opera, or IHG PMS preferred. Must be available to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM), weekends, and holidays.

Overnight:
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Weekends and holidays required.
