Hotel Night Auditor

Our property is seeking a night auditor to join our growing group of hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to financial details, a genuine love of interacting with people, and a superior commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous hotel experience is not required, but guest service experience is highly preferred. Compensation:

$16.75 hourly

Responsibilities:

Perform overnight front desk duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily financial transactions Perform accurate billing checks and resolve discrepancies prior to running the night audit Prepare and distribute daily audit and revenue reports Handle credit card transactions and reconcile discrepancies Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness of public areas during overnight hours (lobby, restrooms, entrances, etc) Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours Maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS) Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and IHG brand standards Communicate effectively with management regarding overnight activity or issues

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year hotel front desk and/or night audit experience required Experience using Opera and/or Hotel Key PMS systems required Prior experience at an IHG-branded property preferred Strong understanding of night audit procedures and basic accounting principles Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong guest service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance Flexible availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, reports) Ability to stand for extended periods Assist with other duties as assigned About Company The Candlewood Suites St. Charles has recently been acquired by ARK Hospitality to manage this property.
