Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team in the hospitality industry. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight shifts. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage various front desk responsibilities while providing exceptional guest experiences. Duties Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, during the night shift. Provide outstanding customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions using multi-line phone systems. Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Handle cash and credit transactions securely and responsibly. Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred. Familiarity with night audit procedures and practices is highly desirable. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Strong background in customer service and guest services within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in handling front desk operations and managing guest relations effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems are essential. Prior experience in a resort or similar environment is advantageous.
