Job Description

Job Type:
[Full-time / Part-time] — Overnight shift (approx. 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
Pay:
$[17-20] per hour, depending on experience About Us Super 8 by Wyndham Gardiner sits right at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park — one of the most beautiful places in the country to live and work. We're a small, hands-on hotel team that takes pride in clean rooms, friendly service, and taking care of our guests and each other. We are one of the few year-round employers in the Gardiner area. While much of the valley shuts down or lays off staff in the off-season, we offer steady, dependable work all twelve months. We're looking for a reliable, long-term team member to grow with us — not a seasonal fill-in. Affordable employee housing is available — a real advantage in Gardiner, where housing is hard to find. Ask us about it when you apply. The Role — Please Read Carefully This is a combined, working overnight position , not a sit-down desk job. As a small property with no separate night cleaning or maintenance crew, our Night Auditor runs the front desk and keeps the property clean, stocked, and secure through the night. This is an independent, self-directed role — you'll manage your shift and keep things moving between the desk, laundry, cleaning, and light upkeep. If you're looking for a quiet overnight where you can sit most of the night, this isn't it. If you take pride in leaving the property spotless and set up for the morning team, you'll do well here. What You'll Do Front desk & night audit: Complete the nightly audit — balance the day's transactions, post room charges, run daily reports Check guests in and out, handle late arrivals, and answer phones and guest messages Balance the cash drawer and handle payments accurately Cleaning & property care (a core part of every shift): Laundry — wash, dry, fold, and restock linens and towels Clean and restock the lobby, public restrooms, and common areas Empty interior and exterior trash and keep entries and walkways tidy Restock the guest market and prep supplies for the morning In winter, clear snow and ice from walkways and entries Guest & property support: Assist guests with luggage, including up the stairs (no elevator on property) Handle minor guest and maintenance issues (e.g., a burned-out bulb, a clogged toilet, a spill); escalate anything major Keep the property secure and prepare a clean handoff and arrivals summary for the morning team What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and here for the long haul — we're investing in someone who wants to stay and grow with us Comfortable working independently, staying alert overnight, and keeping busy Willing and physically able to do hands-on cleaning, laundry, and light upkeep — this is an active, on-your-feet role Basic computer and math skills; hotel or night-audit experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person Friendly, professional, and guest-focused Able to stand and walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to about 25-40 lbs (luggage, laundry, supplies) Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Why Work With Us Year-round, stable employment — one of the few in the area Benefits you earn with time on the team: HSA with employer match 401(k) with employer match Paid time off (PTO) Employee room discounts at Wyndham-brand hotels nationwide Affordable employee housing available A small team where your work is noticed and valued Living and working at the doorstep of
