Job Description

Join Our Team! The Holiday Inn Express Charlotte Concord is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. If you are passionate about hospitality and thrive in an overnight, independent work environment, we want to hear from you!
Position Summary:
As a Night Auditor , you play a critical role in ensuring smooth hotel operations during overnight hours. Acting as the manager-on-duty when no senior staff is present, you will perform all front desk functions while managing daily financial audits and guest relations. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance administrative accuracy with exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all duties of a Front Desk Representative, including check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest inquiries Greet and register guests promptly and courteously, using up-selling techniques to maximize occupancy and revenue Balance and reconcile all receipts, cash drawers, and reservations for the day's business Post room, tax, and incidental charges to guest accounts accurately Prepare and distribute Daily Revenue Reports Perform night audit procedures and reconcile financial records Process no-show billing and audit cashier work for the day Answer multi-line switchboard, transfer calls, and handle wake-up call requests Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, directions, local attractions, and more Assist in setting up the breakfast bar in preparation for the morning shift Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with group check-ins/outs and VIP guest arrivals Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Prior experience in front desk operations and night auditing in a hotel environment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and multitask efficiently Proficiency in using hotel management software and multi-line phone systems Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial tasks Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
