We're looking for someone with weekend availability for the night audit position. The hours are 11 PM to 7 AM with more hours available for other shifts if one might be interested, such as the 3 PM to 11 PM shift. The duties described below are industry standard. We value availability for our guests and taking care of our guests over physical labor, and don't really have a lot of expectations beyond ensuring the computer end and our (minimal for that shift) guest needs are taken care of. Duties Greet and assist guests during late-night hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, payments, and record-keeping in compliance with hotel policies Handle phone communication with guests and internal departments using proper phone etiquette; respond promptly to guest requests or issues Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to protect guests and staff during overnight hours Prepare detailed shift reports documenting daily activities, incidents, and any operational concerns for management review Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs and maintain property standards Qualifications We can train the right person, and some qualifications follow. The most important qualification is reliability. Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; previous night audit or resort experience is highly desirable Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems (such as OPERA), property management systems (PMS), and hotel management software Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve efficiently and communicate effectively with diverse guests and team members Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance guest relations across diverse populations Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hotel safety protocols is essential Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high attention to detail and operational accuracy Join us as a Weekend Night Auditor to be a vital part of our hospitality team!
