Job Description

Position Overview:
Main responsibility is managing the nightly audit routine. Protecting the integrity of the building and all assets contained herein. Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agent's work. Run trial balance to post rooms and close the day. These duties may be described as, but not limited to: Perform duties of Front Desk Agent if required. Ensure all reports have been done correctly and distributed. Reconcile all interfaces and balance with the PMS system audit. Maintain control over cash accounts and balance revolving bank. Address guest complaints, problems and /or requests in a very friendly and professional manner. Ensure that all matters, guest or employee are resolved or addressed with the proper department head. Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales and Executive Office as required. Answer all calls and assist with messages. Walk the perimeter of the building to ensure that all doors are secured and public areas are vacated per schedule. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report deficiencies, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have excellent customer relations skills and leadership capability. Must be detail orientated with outstanding organizational skills. Must possess computer skills, including but not limited to knowledge of property management system (PMS) math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities. Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
One year hotel front office/accounting experience required. High school or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
