Full Job Description Job Summary The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves performing front desk duties, managing guest relations, and conducting nightly audits of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a background in hospitality management, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent customer service. Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations. Handle multi-line phone systems effectively, providing information and assistance to callers. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Prepare reports detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators for management review. Skills Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Experience with night audit procedures is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Proficient in phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Previous experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting is advantageous. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of service our guests expect while ensuring the hotel's operational integrity during the night hours.
