Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure a seamless overnight operation. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving during the night, managing front desk activities, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring all financial and operational procedures are accurately completed. Your proactive approach will contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of hotel management and security. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests arriving during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression. Check guests in and out efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Manage reservation modifications, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, or in-person communication. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, payments, and account adjustments. Monitor security systems, CCTV footage, and conduct property inspections to maintain safety and security standards. Handle guest requests or complaints promptly with excellent customer service problem-solving skills, escalating issues when necessary. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers between shifts. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to any incidents or safety concerns during overnight hours. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel setting. Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during night audits and financial reconciliations. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high levels of professionalism and alertness. Previous experience with hospitality reservation systems and hotel operations is highly preferred.
