Night Auditor-Monday & Tuesdays 11pm - 7am. Flexibility in the schedule would be ideal.Job Summary:
Audits, balances, and runs daily reports on the hotel's operational performance for the day. Oversees front office/front desk operations during the overnight shift.Job Duties:
Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics. Prepares summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day. Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts. credit card vouchers. Verifies all account postings and balances. Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management. Performs duties of the Front Desk Agent. Help set up breakfast for the breakfast attendant Do security checks often during the night to ensure the safety of our guests and our building.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Accounting background preferred. Previous hotel experience desired. Strong customer service orientation and skills. Present a professional image, and able to communicate well with both guests and employees. Ability to operate front office equipment and computers. Ability to compile facts and figures. Ability to understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Job Title:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing, balancing, and generating daily reports to ensure the accurate documentation of the hotel's operational and financial performance. Candidates with flexible availability are highly preferred.Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and reconcile front office accounting records to ensure accuracy for financial reporting.
- Monitor and track room revenues, occupancy statistics, and daily operational metrics.
- Process and summarize cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Post room charges and applicable taxes to guest accounts.
- Verify all daily account postings and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
- Perform all standard Front Desk Agent duties as required.
- Assist in the early morning setup for the breakfast service.
- Conduct regular property security checks to ensure the safety of guests and the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
- Background in accounting or financial reconciliation is an asset.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in front office software and computer operations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to compile and interpret data accurately.
- Strong understanding of fundamental auditing and account balancing principles.
