This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with guests, and takes pride in creating memorable stays. As the first point of contact, you'll manage front desk operations, assist with reservations and guest needs, and help ensure each guest experiences the comfort and hospitality Hampton Inn is known for. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide efficient check-in and check-out service Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest billing accurately using hotel systems Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and assist with inquiries Provide guests with local recommendations, directions, and information about hotel amenities Address guest concerns or service issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain accurate guest records and complete required reports and data entry Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room readiness and guest needs Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards Process payments, handle cash, and complete end-of-shift balancing and reports Promote Hilton Honors, hotel amenities, and upsell room upgrades when available Support breakfast service and general guest needs as part of Hampton Inn's hospitality experience Requirements Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Experience with hotel systems (PEP) is a plus Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns professionally Bilingual abilities are a plus Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Positive attitude and professional appearance at all times Why Join Hampton Inn Akron/Fairlawn?
