Hilton 3rd Shift Night Auditor HAT Management Job Overview Join the HAT Management hospitality team as a Hilton 3rd Shift Night Auditor . We are looking for a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented individual who can provide excellent guest service while ensuring smooth and accurate overnight hotel operations. As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for front desk operations during the overnight shift, assisting guests, completing the nightly audit process, reconciling financial transactions, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming hotel environment. Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional Hilton-level hospitality during overnight hours. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. Operate Hilton property management and reservation systems and complete required overnight procedures. Perform the nightly audit and reconcile daily financial transactions, payments, postings, adjustments, and reports. Review guest accounts and folios for accuracy and resolve discrepancies when appropriate. Answer incoming calls professionally and assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns. Respond to guest complaints professionally and use good judgment to find appropriate solutions. Maintain a visible and professional presence at the front desk throughout the overnight shift. Monitor hotel security and conduct routine property and safety checks. Follow all hotel emergency, safety, and security procedures. Prepare accurate shift reports, incident reports, audit documentation, and pass-down information for management and the next shift. Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and surrounding guest areas during the overnight shift. Communicate maintenance, housekeeping, security, and guest concerns to the appropriate team members. Protect guest privacy and confidential hotel information at all times. Follow all Hilton brand standards and HAT Management policies and procedures. Complete additional duties as assigned by hotel management. Requirements Previous hotel, hospitality, front desk, or customer service experience is preferred. Night Audit experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience with Hilton systems or another hotel Property Management System (PMS) is preferred. Strong attention to detail and basic financial/reconciliation skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused when handling difficult situations. Dependable and able to work independently with limited supervision during overnight hours. Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities and prioritizing tasks. Strong phone etiquette and ability to operate a multi-line phone system. Knowledge of hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
