Role Description The Night Auditor is a full-time, on-site role located at DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown in Pittsburgh, PA. The Night Auditor also performs front desk and receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out, handling reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and addressing any overnight guest needs. Additional tasks include managing cash handling procedures, monitoring lobby and public areas, and ensuring that all guest interactions reflect Hilton's standards of service and safety. The position requires consistent overnight availability and a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Greet, check-in and checkout guests approaching the Front Desk in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner and in accordance with company, hotel and brand standards. Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment and hours of operation in a timely manner. Resolves guest challenges and takes appropriate action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. Build rapport with rewards members and returning guests Qualifications Ability to perform receptionist duties and front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest assistance. Experience handling reservations processes, room assignments, and basic hotel booking systems. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively and courteously with guests and team members. Attention to detail and basic accounting or auditing skills for nightly reconciliation and reporting. Comfort working overnight shifts and maintaining reliability and punctuality. Previous hotel, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or accounting is a plus. Ability to use property management systems and standard office software. Commitment to maintaining guest privacy, safety, and Hilton brand standards.
