This position combines daytime reservation and guest service responsibilities with overnight Night Audit duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while providing professional and welcoming service to our guests.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a set combination of daytime and overnight shifts:
Monday-Wednesday:
Reservationist, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Thursday-Friday:
Overnight Night Audit shifts
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and assist guests with reservations, questions, requests, and hotel information. Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations while providing accurate information regarding hotel amenities, availability, and services. Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation options, in-house groups, and upcoming functions. Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs in a courteous and professional manner. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests and concerns are handled promptly. Complete the hotel's nightly audit and verify Front Desk transactions. Balance daily financial transactions, credit card activity, cash transactions, and guest accounts. Post applicable charges and finalize transactions completed throughout the day. Prepare, print, file, and distribute required Night Audit reports. Prepare registration materials for arriving guests and folios for departing guests. Monitor room availability and assist with reservation and room assignment needs. Answer and direct hotel phone calls, take messages, and process wake-up call requests. Follow hotel procedures related to guest payments, security, keys, and emergency situations. Communicate guest concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate department and follow up as needed. Maintain a professional, organized work environment and provide exceptional service during both daytime and overnight shifts.
Qualifications:
Prior hotel, front office, reservations, or Night Audit experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working independently during overnight hours. Ability to handle financial transactions and balance daily activity. Ability to multitask and remain professional during busy periods. Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel reservation and property management systems. Dependable and punctual with the ability to work the required daytime and overnight schedule.
