Job Description
Primary Objective:
Welcome and register guests, make daily reservations, handle telephone inquiries, displaying a friendly and positive attitude towards all guests. Handle all incoming reservation requests accurately. Complete daily reservations count for arrivals and departures; coordinate with the Front Office Manager or General Manager for decisions relating to group room blocks and guests' special requests.Responsibilities:
Maintains order and cleanliness of the front desk and surrounding areas. Register all incoming guests, obtaining all pertinent information. Always be visible in the lobby and be accepting and available to all guest requests. Balance daily cash receipts at shift end and prepare deposit bags Process and distribute mail and packages per policy and procedure. Coordinate with Housekeeping. Answer telephone promptly and politely. Maintain Daily Journal. Communicate with next shift all information needed to deliver exceptional guest service. Run audit in PMS (Property Management System) Reconciliation of daily cash and credit card transactions Find and correct billing issues Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Benefits:

Must be available to work overnight shift (11pm-7am). Weekends and Holidays required. High school graduate or equivalent. Previous hotel front office experience is preferred; however, we will train. Basic accounting skills. Ability to work independently. Requires strong communication skills. Requires walking and standing to a significant degree, lifting, stretching, handling, bending, and feeling.Job Type:
