+ Paid Time Off As a Night Auditor / Guest Service Representative , you play a critical role in both the guest experience and the overnight financial operations of the Spectator Hotel. This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting and auditing functions to ensure exceptional guest service and accurate financial reporting. The Night Auditor is responsible for auditing, balancing, and reconciling daily hotel transactions while also welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, and providing personalized service throughout the overnight shift. This position is essential to maintaining both guest satisfaction and the hotel's financial integrity. Primary Responsibilities Night Audit & Financial Responsibilities Audit, post, and balance all daily financial transactions. Reconcile guest accounts, room charges, taxes, and hotel services. Verify and settle account discrepancies to ensure accurate billing. Process and reconcile credit card transactions and daily payment activity. Verify cash deposits and cashier reports for accuracy. Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports. Complete all end-of-day procedures and organize required documentation. Ensure compliance with hotel accounting and billing standards. Guest Service Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure. Complete guest registration, check-in, and check-out procedures. Answer telephones, direct calls, and assist guests with inquiries. Make, modify, and cancel reservations as needed. Park/Retrieve guest vehicles as needed. Process payments and follow all credit card procedures. Respond promptly to guest requests and service concerns. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and area information. Maintain front desk supplies and organization. Keep the front office and lobby areas clean, organized, and presentable. Understand and follow emergency procedures and evacuation protocols. Maintain accurate cash banks and complete required shift paperwork. Professional Standards Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards. Protect confidential information and company assets. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members. Foster positive and collaborative working relationships. Follow all safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions. Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic accounting and mathematical abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with computers, front desk systems, and credit card processing equipment. Outstanding guest service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to effectively communicate important information between shifts. Valid driver's license required - must be able to valet Guest cars. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Schedule Requirements Overnight availability required. Weekends and holidays are required based on business needs.
