Hotel is Comfort Suites located on 1130 Hungryneck Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464 Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the nightly financial reconciliation, guest check-ins and check-outs, and maintain the safety and security of our property. Your proactive approach will enhance guest experiences, uphold hotel standards, and support smooth front desk functions during the overnight shift. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our hotel's night-time operations, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for even after hours. Responsibilities Conduct the nightly audit process by verifying all financial transactions, updating property management systems (PMS), and preparing reports for management review. Manage guest arrivals, departures, and inquiries with professionalism and warmth, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Handle all front desk operations including reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar platforms. Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Monitor security cameras, perform safety checks around the property, and follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety during overnight hours. Maintain multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette while addressing guest needs or forwarding calls appropriately. Document incidents or irregularities during the shift through detailed shift reports, ensuring clear communication for day staff continuity. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and problem-solving ability. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and night audit processes. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Previous experience working with hospitality reservation systems and hotel management software is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly via phone and client communication channels in a fast-paced environment.
