Job Description

A premier hospitality property is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Night Audit / Overnight Guest Service Agent to manage overnight front desk operations. In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests during night hours, combining exceptional guest service with daily financial reconciliation. Operating as a blind posting, this opportunity offers a stable, independent work environment for a hospitality professional skilled in property management systems and nocturnal operations.
Key Responsibilities Overnight Guest Relations:
Greet late-arriving and early-departing guests warmly, facilitating seamless check-in and check-out procedures.
Night Audit & Financial Reconciliation:
Perform end-of-day operations, reconcile daily room charges, balance payment transactions, and generate daily summary reports for management.
System Operations:
Utilize property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to update reservation statuses, handle overnight bookings, and post adjustments accurately.
Guest Services & Communication:
Manage incoming overnight calls, address guest inquiries, handle requests promptly, and resolve issues with professionalism and autonomy.
Safety & Security:
Maintain security protocols throughout the property during the overnight shift, including monitoring access points, enforcing guest safety measures, and executing emergency procedures if needed.
Property Knowledge:
Provide accurate information regarding local area transportation, early-morning amenities, and hotel policies.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Proven track record in hospitality operations, hotel front desk, or night audit functions. Previous resort or extended-stay experience is a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with hospitality PMS platforms (e.g., OPERA) and proficiency in financial balancing/reporting routines.
Communication & Etiquette:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high professional phone etiquette. Multilingual abilities are a strong advantage.
Problem-Solving & Independence:
Ability to work autonomously during night hours, make sound operational decisions, and handle guest concerns calmly and effectively.
Detail Orientation:
Exceptional attention to detail when balancing accounts, auditing receipts, and managing data entry under minimal supervision.
Safety Awareness:
Solid understanding of night security best practices and emergency response protocols.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
