Typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays About the Position We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hotel team. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service throughout the overnight hours while accurately completing the daily audit and ensuring the hotel is prepared for the following business day. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, has strong attention to detail, and can maintain a professional and welcoming presence during the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests, complete check-ins and check-outs, and provide professional customer service. Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Complete the nightly audit accurately and according to hotel procedures. Verify daily financial transactions, receipts, and reports. Balance and reconcile front desk and hotel accounts. Prepare required daily reports for management. Monitor the hotel and maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment during overnight hours. Perform routine overnight housekeeping or hotel-related tasks as needed. Address guest issues appropriately and contact management or emergency services when necessary. Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and security standards. Prepare the front desk and common areas for the morning shift. Maintain accurate records and communicate important information to the incoming team. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or night audit experience preferred. Previous experience with hotel property-management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to stand for a full 8 hour shift while staying busy. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to remain alert and productive throughout an overnight shift. Ability to handle confidential guest and financial information appropriately. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
