Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel or resort. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk responsibilities and performing nightly audits. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality management who thrive in a dynamic environment. Duties Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing outstanding customer service to guests. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a high level of satisfaction. Operate phone systems to assist guests and coordinate with other departments as necessary. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics for management review. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Collaborate with the day staff to ensure seamless transitions between shifts. Qualifications Previous experience in night audit or similar roles within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse clientele. Knowledge of hotel management software and phone systems is an advantage. A background in hospitality management or related fields is beneficial. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to handle various tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment.
