In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, managing front desk responsibilities, financial reconciliations, and guest relations with professionalism and enthusiasm. Help create a welcoming environment for diverse guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, safe, and memorable. Duties Greet and assist guests checking in or out during the night shift with friendly, efficient service while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct nightly audits of daily financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Conduct property inspections to uphold safety standards and respond promptly to any emergency procedures or incidents. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues proactively through customer service problem-solving, and communicate effectively with clients in multiple languages or bilingual settings. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication between shifts and departments. Support guest services by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts. Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems (such as OPERA), property management systems (PMS), and hotel management software. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, phone communication, and hospitality etiquette. Ability to handle night audit procedures accurately while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective client communication across diverse guest populations. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and guest safety standards is preferred. Previous experience working in a high-volume hotel environment preferred.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 18.0 per week
