Visit us at www.depalmahotels.com Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Hotel Night Auditor to join our team. This overnight position is responsible for providing front desk service to guests, completing the nightly audit process, balancing daily transactions, preparing reports, and helping ensure the hotel is secure, organized, and ready for the next business day. The Hotel Night Auditor plays an important role in both guest service and hotel operations. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, comfortable working overnight, good with details, and able to provide professional service while also completing accurate administrative and audit responsibilities. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently during overnight hours Handle reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest account transactions Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily hotel activity Review, post, and reconcile charges, payments, room revenue, taxes, and adjustments Prepare and distribute required night audit reports for hotel leadership Answer phone calls, respond to guest questions, and assist with overnight guest requests Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery in a calm and professional manner Monitor hotel activity, guest safety, and property security during the overnight shift Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and hotel leadership regarding guest needs or operational issues Follow hotel procedures for cash handling, credit cards, guest privacy, and security Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Support breakfast setup or early morning hotel operations as needed Help ensure the hotel is prepared for the next day's arrivals, departures, and business activity Qualifications Required Previous customer service, front desk, administrative, hospitality, retail, or related experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, reports, and transactions Friendly and professional communication skills Ability to work independently and stay productive during overnight hours Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Previous hotel night audit, hotel front desk, or guest service experience Experience using hotel property management systems Experience with Wyndham, Marriott, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Hilton, IHG, or other branded hotel standards Cash handling, credit card transaction, and daily reconciliation experience Basic accounting, bookkeeping, or audit experience Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus Schedule Overnight shift Flexible schedule based on business needs Weekends and holidays as needed Job Type Full-time Part-time Pay Starting at $13.00 per hour and up based on experience Benefits Eligible associates may be offered: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off Holiday pay Hotel travel discounts and perks Growth and advancement opportunities with an established hotel management company Join Our Team This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys guest service, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
