Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
  • Assist with reservations and room assignments
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct night audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing reports while working overnight.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests by following established procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Skills:
  • Work on Excel and formulas while printing reports for the night before. While still checking people in and assuring all payments are being posted.
  • Strong hospitality management skills, with a focus on guest relations
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
  • Experience in night audit functions is preferred
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable) to effectively communicate with a diverse range of guests
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and demonstrating proper phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
