Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift, balancing administrative duties with guest relations to maintain the highest standards of service. Your proactive attitude and hospitality expertise will help uphold our reputation for excellence, creating a welcoming environment for guests arriving or departing during the night hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hotel management skills while working in a vibrant, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as Astay, Agilysys, SPOG or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness. Verify guest accounts, process payments, and reconcile daily financial reports efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting late-night arrivals, departures, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. Handle phone communication with guests, vendors, and internal departments, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and clear client communication. Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks in accordance with hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to support hotel operations and compliance standards. Address guest concerns promptly, problem-solve effectively, and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction remains high. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment; resort experience is a plus. Familiarity with hotel management software such as Astay, Agilysys, SPOG or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally during late hours. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and night audit processes essential for maintaining operational integrity. Excellent phone communication skills combined with hospitality-focused phone etiquette.
