This energetic role offers a unique opportunity to ensure smooth hotel operations, uphold guest satisfaction, and maintain the highest standards of safety and accuracy. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night arrivals, responsible for balancing financial transactions, managing guest requests, and safeguarding hotel property. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that guests remember long after their stay. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar software to ensure accuracy and completeness. Welcome and assist late-night guests with check-in, check-out, and any special requests, providing exceptional customer service through friendly phone communication and face-to-face interactions. Monitor security cameras, perform property inspections, and respond promptly to any safety or emergency situations following hotel emergency procedures. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff. Manage guest inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience. Maintain confidentiality of guest information while handling reservations, modifications, or cancellations in multiple languages if applicable. Support hotel management by assisting with front desk operations during overnight hours, including reservation management and guest relations. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment; resort experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms. Excellent customer service skills combined with problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns promptly and effectively. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to enhance client communication across diverse guest populations. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest services standards. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods during overnight shifts. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally at all hours.
